Can I use the "chi straight guard" as a heat protectant ?
I ran out of the chi infusion, so I went to the store, but they only had the straight guard so I bought it, is it good to use before I flat iron.
BTW, my hair is thick and curly.
my hair is thick and curly as well and i use it before i straighten my hair. I find that obviously straightening your hair with it on will still burn your hair a bit but it doesnt burn it as much. ive started using it about 3 months ago and ive noticed that my hair still doesnt have dead ends and when i did use it, in 2 months i had dead ends and my hair was losing volume.
its works pretty well in my opinion.
