a) would be the mass x the acceleration of gravity, 9.8ms^2 is often used, but it is sometimes rounded to 10, so either 1470N or 1500N, actually, to two significant figures, 1470 rounds to 1500
b) if one saves the rounding for the end, not using the 1500N from above, (150 * 9.8) / 25 = 58.8N/cm² which would round to 59N/cm² or 590kPa
