Is this a good straightener?
Tool Science Digital Tourmaline Styling Iron
I've heard that Tourmaline isn't good, and ceramic plates are better. But the ratings of this look very high. What do you think?

It depends upon what type of hair you have. That would work fine on thin hair, but if you have thick or very curly hair I would recommend a CHI. I have never used anything better than that brand, and I have tried just about every straightener out there. It does cost a bit more than that one ($125 where I bought mine), but it is worth every penny. You do always want to use a heat protecting spray and I think that one would work well.
