Can I use CHI's Keratin Mist as Heat Protectant?
I got this for Christmas recently and plan on returning it unless it works as a heat protectant, as I really need one right now. On the bottle it says, "leave-in strengthening treatment." The directions for use on the back says, "CHI Keratin Mist is specifically developed to work in conjunction with the CHI line. CHI Keratin Mist with Cationic Hydration Interlink and proteins is an advance leave in spray to provide hair with strength, protection, and softness while leaving hair silky and shiny with incredible manageability. DIRECTIONS: Spray evenly throughout the hair and leave in, proceed with styling.
So yeah if you're knowledgeable about this type of thing, then it would be great if you could help me! Thanks, everyone!
I do. I'm not sure if it protects against heat but it makes it stronger. And makes it easier to straighten in my opinion. You should probably get the actual heat protectant if your hair is thin and easily damaged. CHI has one but it's kind of expensive. You can probably get a cheaper, still good one at Sally's Beauty Supply.
