Do most belly button piercing's end in an infection or rejection?
When you take out the peircing is there normally a scar?
It really depends on a lot of things.
I was twelve years old when I got my first navel piercing, it did not get infected, but it did reject because I hit a growth spurt and my skin stretched.
After it rejected, I went back when I was 15, it didn't get infected the second time either. I am 18 now and it is showing no signs of infection.
My best advice to you is to clean your navel ring about twice a day.. don't try to clean it too much or it will get irritated. I used sea salt mixed with warm water to clean mine, and it did a great job.
