How long do I warm pre-baked bread?
I've got a loaf of Italian bread that I'd like to butter and add garlic salt to. Should I broil the bread or bake it? How long for either method? Should I butter it before I bake it, or should I do that after? Tell me like I'm an idiot, please.
If you are slicing it open broil it, if not bake it. I would go directly on the rack, as is, into a 350 degree oven, about 15 minutes to heat through. But keep an eye on it, as you are buttering it so that crust doesn't get any crispier than you want.
