How do I get some volume into my hair?
So my hair is pretty thin and very flat. I've tried basically everything. I love how my hair looks when I leave the salon and it's been blow dried with a round brush, problem is I have no idea how to do it myself. I'm not asking how to get that kind of volume but simply to add some lift to my roots. I was using Ojon's thickening shampoo and conditioner and Bumble and Bumble's thickening spray which both worked better than any other products I've tried (volumizing shampoos, volumizing mousse's, spray's, creme's etc) but are both quite pricey. Does anyone have any other tips (and yes, I blowdry my hair upside down, it doesn't help too much.)
My biggest problem is after styling my hair it will have lift and I'll love it but after half an hour it falls flat again!
What you can do is curl it and leave the curls in over night.then in the morning ,take them out style it,then spray it so it will stay.maybe then you will get some volume in your hair.
