How to make it better, here is the re-write I just did of this one, does it work?

Precise, pristine, poised.
Rendered poem---piercing my heart.
Elegance and depth
Not sure I understood,
She accepted my bumbling...
An invitation to Mars
new contact gave,
Smiled in my heart.
Learn from her
Gentle, kind, plain
words to make me see....
