I´m building some fire juggling equipment and I want to coat one of my fire juggling bats with glass fiber. The problem (already tested) is that after a few burns, the glsss fibre starts to fall apart. How can I make the glass fiber fire proof. I´m using a regular epoxy resin and I´m adding Aluminum Hydroxyde, but its not enough.

Any ideas?
I cant use phenolic resin because they require a very high temperature cure. Because the fire bats is made of wood covered with glass fiber, I cant cure the piece in a oven otherwise the wood would just bend.
