How do daily brush or comb a baby teddy bear hamster if it wont let u hold it?
I got a baby teddy bear hamster and the place i got it from said i sould comb it daily, but she wont let me hold her. Every time she jumps from my hands. Even the lady who gave it to me at the pet store all most dropped her because the hamster jumped.

you can get one of those pet play pens their like tall metal pen for your pen put her in there and use a toothbrush to gently comb her.
my hamster used to do this to and just keep petting,playing, with them.
new hamsters are scared holding them will get easier as he gets older.
if your scared get a thick glove to firmly but gently pick him up.

add:! i had this same problem!
ALL babies jump their not used to being held when my hamsters bred it was hard to handle them because they jumped, very rarely will the baby ones bite so no need for gloves.
cup your bottom hand under and use ur other hand to hold her in place.
just scoop her up in your hand and hold her firmly, pet her gently and put her back, do this everyday and she should be more used to you and comfterble.
also you dont NEED to brush a teddy bear hamster, but it is very good to do so, their hair (mostly males) fur get matted easily.
if its female they are not as puffy as males and do not need to be brushed as often.
