Hair dying question, going brunette from blonde?
I'm a professional at home dying, lol but I was on the phone when picking out my color and I chose a golden brunette but smaller print says "made for darker hair" so I'm guessing that means for people lightening their hair instead of darkening it like me.
My question is should I exchange the color or will it not matter that I'm going darker? I'm wondering what damage it could do if I went ahead and used the color I bought. It's Nice n Easy if you're interested. Anyone else have a similar experience?
I've dyed my hair from blonde to brunette (shade 5) a couple times before and never had a problem with it. I usually use Preference though.
Does the Nice n Easy box say it's for covering grays? If so, you might want to exchange it for a different kind. If not, it should work just fine. Either way, if it doesn't turn out to the right shade it should be fairly easy to cover up, and since you're going darker, it won't damage your hair if you do it twice.
