Why does my hair split? How can i get it too stop splitting ?
Ever since i was little i wanted long hair but unfortunately Ive only been able to grow it to my shoulders and then I'd get it all chopped off again. At the moment Ive gron it too my shoulders and its frayed and split badly, What should i do ?
Oh, some extra imformation-please tell me whats okay out of these to be doing and not:
-I use volume boost spray and mousse (protects heat slightly)
-Blowdry my hair on cool or hot settings
-Use any shampoo really
-I curl my hair about one every 2 weeks using heat protection
Hair splits when it needs a trim. Visit your hairstylist every 6weeks for regular trims.
I know this may feel like you'll never reach the length you want but it will give you healthy hair when you do reach the desired length.
Overuse of heated appliances may also be a cause.
Protein may help to strengthen your hair (and make it shiny!)
Ask your hairstylist for more advice.
