Blow Dryer Curling

Has this happened to anyone else with their blow dryer?
Kay so I got the Corioliss flat iron box set with a blow dryer and curling iron for Christmas. I JUST NOW opened the box to get the blow dryer out and proceeded to use it. I thought it was cute, it was a tiny little thing and it could really shoot out air. Not five minutes later, it stops. Dead! I just started using it and that's it. Not five minutes worth of drying my thick hair. I hardly dried my bangs.
Is there any possibility of fixing it or is it a worthless piece of crap now?
It probably has a overheat sensor. Blow into it or wait. It will work again.
