Can yellow shampoos and conditioners add brassy/yellow tones to platinum blonde hair?
I recently died all of my hair platinum blonde and I'm terrified of it becoming brassy as it took so long to eliminate all of the brassy tones. I am using an awesome purple shampoo every once and a while, but it leaves my hair really dry and since my hair is pretty over processed (it was died black before it was platinum) I can't use that everyday. I am using Matrix Biolage Hydrating Shampoo and Dumb Blonde condtioner. Both of which of COURSE have to be yellow. I have this fear of putting anything yellow in my hair because I'm afraid the color is going to stick in my hair. My shampoo and conditioner work really well, and I don't want to have to swap them out for something else, so please tell if my fears are justified or not.
