Big Volume Conditioner

What is the best hair product to keep hair from getting poofy and crazy big?
I would appreciate any suggestions for shampoo, conditioner and/or products. I only get a little frizz at the temples and have products that work for the frizz and flyaways. I tried straightening my hair but didn't like the results because I don't want my hair straight. I want to keep the waves and natural curl but don't want the volume which makes my hair look like a lion's mane. I just want to address the poofiness.
My hairs the exact same way.
I use 'Head and Shoulders, Smooth and Silky' (It's in the pink bottle)
Then right after I take my hair out of the towel I put Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum and the Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Relaxing Balm in my hand then mix it together and put it all over my hair. Then it drys and its not as poofy and not as frizzy. It works great
