Men: Do you always use the same barber?
You walk into the barber shop and there is like 12 heads before you. There are 3 barbers and the new guy has a chair open but your regular barber has 6 in front of you. Do you:
A - Come back later and take your chances
B - Take a seat and watch the game with the fellas
C - Take a chance on the new guy
Ladies you can answer too but I'm sure it not quite the same at the beauty parlor.
I wish I could cut my own hair. I've had the same barber for over 10 years and went by appt. there too but he is sick and may retire. I've been shopping around and letting too many people mess with my head don't sit too well with me. Just wanted to know what yall thought.

I can answer this for my Hubby because we have discussed this in length (and I think he's anal about it)
He does B. BUT...because he frequents once a week and is a heavy tipper he feels he deserves to pushed ahead of others. I've actually been with him and seen him go up to his barber and slide him money (a $20 tip) to get him in next. To me...it's wrong on every level and I walked out. He gets his hair cut next and is happy that he could "buy" next chair. He said that now he gets next chair and automatically tips the guy an extra $20 bucks. It doesn't seem to bother him but it would me.
I have one women who does my hair but I make an appointment and wouldn't go in without an appointment. I think it's different for women. I tip 25% because she does such a good job and always does me on the day I call her if she can get me in. She also does Maddy's hair for me when I want something special done for special occasions. I would NEVER go in and expect someone to let me cut in front of them.
