Is it bad to use my straightener even if the ceramic is starting to peel off?
I've had this babyliss straightener for about four or five years and the inside (the heated plates) are originally cream colored, but the sides are turning brown. And plus the ceramic is slowly starting to peel off. Is it still okay to use?
I would say you should probly seriously start thinking of getting a new one....underneth the ceramic may be just plain metal and if thats the case your hair will start to get very damaged once enough ceramic is gone. I recomend the chi flat iron I have had mine for years I use it at work just about daily and i have never had peeling issues. Just treat yourself , it is worth it to keep your hair in good condition.
