For my type of hair, what shampoo/conditioner would you recommend?
I have a hard problem picking out what type of hair product I want because my hair is somewhat a mix of all of the categories.
The top layer of my hair is in good shape, with the exception of several parts in the front that show [ugly] signs of damage. It is wavy but the back is fairly straight.
However, the bottom layer is soft, shiny, and straight. The hair is very healthy, in my opinion.
The first day I wash my hair, I find it dry, but maybe that's cause of the damaged areas.
The second day I feel all nasty cause the bottom layer of my hair gets oily (the top looks fine), and after the day is over, I cannot wait to wash my hair.
Taking all these into consideration, what would you recommend? Right now I use herbal essences (the light blue one) and an Aveda conditioner said to repair damage. Sometimes, I use the Moroccan oil treatment or the oil itself.
everyone's hair is different and even typing a description can't match what a professional can do. go to your salon to have your hair evaluated, and your stylist will gladly point you in the right direction.
also, try using PROFESSIONAL products. as in not herbal essences. that alone will greatly help your hairs appearance.
