What color should I dye my hair?
I have an appointment at a local Aveda salon tomorrow for an all over. I have blue eyes and freakles, mostly pale skin. My natural hair color is a medium brown. I was thinking of a dark auburn but don't know if it would go well with my skin tone. Any ideas? What other colors do you think might go well?
I agree you would probably look wonderful in a reddish shade. However, it's better to choose a medium-to-light color ( like copper or strawberry blonde ) instead of a darkish auburn. Light red tends to look better with pale skin, as dark auburn might wash out your face; and that color often has heavy purplish undertones which don't look natural on most people. And light red with blue eyes is stunning. A medium to dark blonde might also look good with pale skin.
