What are REALLY good hair straightening tips?
my hair is : medium thickness, never greasy or dry, healthy and taken care of, curly in some spots, wavy in some spots
my flat iron: CHI ceramic original
my hair products: garnier weightless anti-frizz shine serum, CHI heat protectant spray, osis shine serum, and other hair scrunching stuff that isnt necessary for straigtening hair.
the problem with my hair is that it looks great when im straightening it, and its really striaght and shiny for like the first half hour, but then over the day it gets a wave, and loses most of its shine....ITS SO ANNOYING! any tips to help prevent/stop this?

i have the same kind of hair.
my hair straightener:
amika (my friends and i like it much better than the chi, and it's cheaper)
product:
tigi bed head some like it hot anti heat and humidity serum. that's it
before i used those i had the same problems and i went to new orleans this summer when it was really humid and had no problems with wavyness or frizziness
also straighten in sections. with a chi, i needed to go over my hair more than once, but with mine now, once is fine
