Searchers have to imagine how far Casey could have walked carrying both a shovel and the decomposing body of her child. It could not have been a great distance. As far as which location? I'd go to the place her cell phone placed her last. I believe the first place was Casey scouting for a private location but something about it frightened her. Otherwise, there would have been no reason for Casey to go to the second site.
