what theme would give me the most battery life?
I use the power saver plan normally and gets about 2 hours 40 minutes or so depending on usage. I'm using windows 7 rc.
1. Aero with transparency
2. Aero without transparency
3. Windows 7 Basic
Im not using classic cause imo its ugly. Also does it make a big difference at all?

It does make a difference so does leaving the WL AN on when your not using it and hidden things in the background. You can check whats in the background without your knowledge by pressing CTRL ALT DELETE.
When you get to the task manager go to processes and you'll find a whole load of programs which are running and taking battery. Only delete what you know what they are
